For enthusiasts and cable modders, CyberPowerPC desktops feature spacious chassis that offers a lot of flexibility to the user to easily manage the cables and also add some RGB strips down the line.
CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Supreme Liquid Cool Gaming PC SLC8260A2 Review
The CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme Liquid Cool SLC8260A2 is powered by Intel and you’ll find a 9th-gen processor in a shiny box that is equipped with all kinds of RGB lights. As for the GPU, an RTX 2070 Super is also installed in this high-end rig to offer the best 4K gaming experience. For gamers that are looking to get the maximum fps on a 4K display, this one would be an excellent choice.
The statement ‘’A sight for sore eyes” pretty much sums up the design of this futuristic-looking chassis. CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme features an ATX-sized transparent chassis with three RGB-lit 120mm PMW fans and an RGB-lit radiator as well for the CPU.
By the looks of it, this one is quite spacious but it doesn’t come with trays for additional devices. We don’t see any mounts for the hard drives but for SSDs, you’ll find plenty of space.
Additionally, the case is quite big and would easily fit an RTX 3090 without any kind of alterations. As for the connectivity, you’ll find a couple of USB3.0 ports on the top panel along with the headphones jack.
Furthermore, the airflow inside the case is also pretty impressive but with all these fans, the noise level would be a bit disturbing.
The tempered glass on the front and the side panel surely gives an excellent look at the case and if you’re an RGB fanatic, you’ll find the case to be quite appealing.
Unlike its predecessors, CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme is equipped with an RTX 2070 Super graphics card that features 8 gigs of GDDR6 VRAM. It has the potential to run even the most graphically demanding games at 4K with 60 fps. However, with the ray-tracing feature, you might need to dial-back at 1440p to get the optimal experience.
GeForce RTX 2070S is one of the most powerful 4K graphics cards that you can find in the market and because it is based on Turing architecture, RTX 2070S will stay relevant for at least 5 more years. Additionally, RTX 2070S can achieve up to 9.2 teraflops which is a very big deal.
Performance-wise, you’ll get more than 100fps on 1440p in games like Warzone, GTA V, Odyssey and Watch Dogs with cranked-up settings.
CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme comes with Intel’s 9th-gen processor that will meet all your gaming and non-gaming needs. Inside the case, you’ll find a Core i7-9700K with a 3.6Ghz base clock speed which can be overclocked to 4.9Ghz.
Furthermore, this mainstream processor is based on 14nm technology and features 8 cores and 8 threads.
For 4K gaming, you won’t find a better combination than a Core i7-9700K backed with GeForce RTX 2070 Super. Lastly, the best feature of this Intel processor is that it tends to stay cool even after hours of gaming and processing.
A 9th-gen processor also requires a high-end motherboard to offer a flawless computing experience. In CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme, you’ll find an Intel Z390 motherboard which is a 9th-gen motherboard with overclocking capability for K series processors.
Specification wise, you’ll get a few USB3.1 ports along with SDA3.0 compatibility. Additionally, you’ll only find 2x RAM slots on the motherboard which is a bummer because such high-end motherboards should have 4x DIMM slots. Lastly, Intel Z390 is a durable motherboard and will serve you for a long time.
Storage and Memory
Another perk of CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme is that it comes laden with 1TB NVMe SSD which is incredibly fast and cuts the loading times to almost half.
Modern games require a lot of storage nowadays but 1TB would do the job for you. Also, if you think that 1TB isn’t enough you also have an option to add additional storage.
As for the memory, you get 16GB DRR4 RAM which is more than enough to handle 4K gaming. Aside from gaming, designing and programming software would also run quite smoothly with this much RAM.
Bottom line, in our CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme SLC8260A2 review, we found that it’s capable of handling extreme gaming on high-resolution displays and promises flawless gameplay. As for the durability and functionality, there a few pros and cons, as it would in any other product. However, for this price, you could not find a better high-end pre-built desktop than CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme.
CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Supreme Liquid Cool Gaming PC SLC10200CPGV2 Review
CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Supreme SLC10200CPGV2 is another high-end desktop that adheres to the budget. It is a powerful desktop with Intel’s 9th-gen chipset coupled with GeForce RTX 2070 Super. We’ll be reviewing CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Supreme SLC10200CPGV2 to see if it’s good enough for our requirements.
Similar to its successors and predecessors, CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme features a matte-black exterior with side tempered glass on one side and triangular shaped-like mesh grills on the other side. At first glance, the case looks very clean and minimalistic with RGB LEDs glowing out of it. The build quality is rigid and it seems like that the case has the potential to last for many years to come.
The RGB LED strips on the bottom also add to the beauty of this stunning looking case but those who aren’t in awe of RGB-lit things might feel differently. Furthermore, on the top side of the case, you’ll find 2x USB3.0 ports, headphones jack, RGB control, and power button along with a mesh grill to mount a cooling radiator and this is pretty much it as far as the design goes.
CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme comes laden with RTX 2070 Super graphics card that features 8GB GDDR6 video memory. It is one of the most powerful graphics cards that you could find in the market and its overclocking abilities could squeeze out every bit of performance.
Ideally, GeForce RTX 2070 Super is designed for 4K gaming but if you want to take things a notch up and turn the ‘RTX on’ then you can’t expect anything above 40fps.
All the latest and the most graphically demanding AAA games would run quite smoothly and even after hours of gaming, you won’t experience any shuttering.
4K gaming is not possible without an insanely fast processor to back the graphics card and this is where the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme comes in. It features an I9-9900K processor which not only offers the best performance when it comes to 4K gaming but, also plays an important role in offering a flawless VR gaming experience.
Intel Core i9-9900K features 8 cores and 16 threads to offer the amplest processing power. It is also one of the latest Intel chips in the market and it’s optimized for high-end gaming. Unfortunately, Intel 9th-gen chips are also based on 14nm technology while Ryzen is bringing the 7nm processors in the market which are far better when it comes to gaming.
CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme features the Intel Z390 motherboard which was specifically designed for 9th-gen chipsets. It is a high-end motherboard and has the potential to overclock all the components without frying anything inside the case.
It’s a pity that a motherboard of this caliber only features 2x RAM slots. Furthermore, high-end motherboards these days also feature I/O shields but you won’t find them either on Intel Z390 motherboards. In conclusion, It’s a decent motherboard with USB3.1 compatibility but compared to other boards in the same price range, Z390 lacks many perks.
Storage and Memory
CyberPowerPC doesn’t usually come with large storage devices but Gamer Supreme is definitely an exception as it features a 2TB hard drive and a 500GB NVMe SSD. We can safely say that CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme has plenty of space to fit dozens of AAA games.
On the other hand, when it comes to memory, CyberPowerPC features 16GB DDR4 memory to support the optimal 4K gaming and fast rendering in Adobe and other 3D designing apps like Blender and Unity3D.
From what we’ve seen, we’re sure that CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme is perfectly capable of high-end gaming. For gamers with deep pockets, CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme would be a very decent choice but if you’re looking for something under $1000 then I’m afraid that you’ll have to look someplace else. SkyTech Archangel would be a good choice if you’re eyeing for a thousand buck battlestation.
