Gran Turismo 5 Details Emerge
29th May 2007
Source: PS3 Fanboy
Sony and Polyphony Digital have been keeping details of Gran Turismo 5 under wraps, but it seems some details have slipped out if the latest rumours are to believed.
Most of the inclusions below follow on from what other competitors have already been doing, with car damage being the most obvious example.
- Online mode for between 12-20 players.
- Downloadable tracks and cars via the PS Store.
- Complete range of Ferrari cars.
- Formula 1 vehicles.
- Dynamic weather conditions influencing races.
- New city tracks.
- Car damage.
GT5 will also feature all the cars and tracks from GT4, which if true makes you wonder what Polyphony Digital have been doing other than upgrading the visuals to HD standard.  Fans of the series will be wanting more than just enhanced graphics and an online mode.  We'd hope that Polyphony Digital add more content and inject a new sense of direction into the GT experience, as Forza 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4 won't be treading water.
A gorgeous visual reimagining of the series.
As a co-operative multiplayer experience, Left 4 Dead is unparalleled on the Xbox 360.
Overall F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin is shaping up to be the first memorable game of 2009.
Its looking like 2009 could finally be the year PS3 makes up lost ground.
It may be more of the same, but why differ from an already winning formula?
In the time weve spent in the world we cant help but feel disappointed.
