The CEO of Capcom's closed Clover studio has opened a new Japanese development company called Seeds and he has already populated the team with fellow Clover refugees.

Led by former Clover CEO Atsushi Inaba, the studio's opening has been confirmed via its company website.

''We are the Seeds that caused the vibrant flowers Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Steel Battalion, Viewtiful Joe, and Okami to come into bloom. Now, with a renewed spirit, we want to once again challenge the world of entertainment. But to do this, we need many, many more seeds... Would you like to make some 'preposterously amazing' games with us?''

The studio's key personnel also includes Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kimaya.

Composers, character designers and artists from those games (and other Clover title God Hand and other Capcom games) have also taken a number of other roles at the 51 strong studio.
